FR Legends looks simple when you first start playing, but controlling a car consistently involves several things at once. Steering input, throttle, entry speed, weight transfer and the car's setup all affect what happens during a drift.

That is why changing cars or copying a setup after every bad run can make learning harder. You need a stable reference point so you can tell whether the problem came from your driving or from the car.

A useful starting point is to choose a car that feels predictable, keep the setup reasonably stable, and practice the same section of track repeatedly.

Choosing a Car

Build the Drift in Stages

Transitions deserve their own practice. If the car becomes difficult to control whenever direction changes, slow the section down and repeat it until the steering movement becomes more deliberate.

Tuning Should Answer a Question

Good tuning starts with a specific observation. Instead of asking what settings should be used, ask why the car loses control during a transition or why it requires so much throttle to maintain the line.
